My 2021 F150 Lariat started to shudder whenever I was cruising on the freeway and started to get worse.. I took it in to a mechanic to look into it but he just charged me $140 and did nothing said my truck had recalls.. then I scheduled it to go to Ford delearship and they told me the would need the truck for about a WEEK!.. I asked if they could call me when their transmission guy could inspect it.. so then I did some research on my 10speed transmission that it need to be flushed and filled with new fluid every 50K .. took it to Benny and he stated the same thing.. did the flush and fill and boom the shudder was gone and it felt like new again. Great service and got my truck back within a few hours. Recommended!

Very honest people work here, especially a very nice and humble guy named Benny. Last month in April 2024, my wife and I were driving our 2013 Hyundai Sonata, enjoying our day when the engine seized. We didn't know why the engine had seized. We took our vehicle to Medina's Transmission (MT) and after their initial diagnostic test, it was actually Benny who recommended we take our vehicle to the dealership because of a settlement that Hyundai has agreed to pertaining to the Rod Bearing mechanism within the engine. Think about this for a moment: any work done on an engine or engine replacement would be an expensive procedure. We were looking at a bill of $5,000 if not more (between $2,000 and $4000 for a new engine and another $1,000 for parts and labor) and any other person would have charged an eye and a few limbs to get this work done for us. However, thanks to Benny's recommendation, we had our vehicle towed to the Hyundai Dealership and after the dealership completed their testing, the dealership either repaired or replaced our engine at no cost to us. After 8 or 9 days, the dealership completed their work and returned our vehicle to us, we then took our vehicle back to MT so t

Ben and Medinas Transmissions saved us! Our van broke down in Loreto, Baja and we were unable to get it repaired there. We had the van shipped up to Medinas Transmissions, which was highly recommended to us by one of their longtime clients. Ben took our van immediately and had it fixed on time and on budget. Since then, we've driven over 3,000 miles home to eastern Canada, through deserts, mountains and every type of weather condition and the transmission is working perfectly. We're so thankful to Ben and his team.

We were trapped in San Diego for the week between Christmas and New Year's due to a catastrophic failure of our automatic transmission and flywheel on our 05 Ram 2500 Cummins Diesel. Ben came to our rescue with a calming smile on his face and worked hard to get us safely back home on our schedule at a very fair price. Ben and his team have fantastic customer service, are reliable, and do fantastic work. Highly recommended.
